Although Rose Wagner didn’t attend Salve, her daughter Victoria is a 2011 graduate. Wagner has always had a fondness for Salve, which was strengthened when the University supported her family through a challenging period.
In February 2025, Salve announced a $12 million gift from the Jean and David W. Wallace Foundation, focused on creating innovative experiences in business. The gift is the latest of many from the Wallace family, the University’s most generous benefactor.
Salve continues to break ground in its efforts to deliver a transformative educational experience. That momentum continues with two new structures emerging on campus – a state-of-the-art residence hall and a garden pavilion for student programming.
By establishing an endowed scholarship, Elizabeth Cadigan ’79 and Mary Cadigan Jones ’74 are continuing a philanthropic partnership that demonstrates their belief in the power of a mercy-inspired education.
The David and Carolyn Brodsky Chair in U.S. Constitutional Democracy and Culture is focusing on the democratic forces that have inspired, built and sustained America throughout its history.
As a key priority of the campaign, The SALVEfund builds on the foundation of generosity and mercy-inspired leadership that has defined Salve Regina University since its founding.
A bequest from Mary Ellen Atkins ’68 is expressing her appreciation for what Salve provided her in terms of education, encouragement, self-confidence and friendships.
A generous commitment from Carl and Gigi Allen is establishing the Allen Family Learning Commons, which houses essential student support services and is a vital component of the Salve Compass program.

Brian and Ann Marie Pryor are paying it forward through their campaign support of the entrepreneurship minor by endowing The Pryor Family Fund for Entrepreneurship.
